It is recommended that women trying to conceive and in the early stages of their pregnancy consider a folic acid supplement1 to reduce the risk of neural tube defects including spina bifida.2 Women who are trying to conceive, pregnant and breastfeeding should also consider an iron supplement to help prevent iron deficiency and an iodine supplement to support baby’s brain health.

Dose and directions for use

• Take Natalis for at least one month before pregnancy, throughout pregnancy, and whilst breastfeeding.
• Take one tablet daily with the main meal, or as directed by your healthcare professional.

Warnings

• This product contains Selenium which is toxic in high doses. A daily dose of 150 micrograms for adults of selenium from dietary supplements should not be exceeded
• Do not exceed the stated dose of folic acid, except on medical advice
• If you have had a baby with a neural tube defect/spina bifida, seek specific medical advice
• Vitamins should not replace a balanced diet
• Contains sugars and soya bean products
